use the peg board to hang up your scissors, rulers, tape measure and other accessories.
purchase peg board material to desired size
metal "s" hooks are good. the board cannot be tightly flush to the wall, need space for the hooks to be inserted. peg boards are an efficient use of space and everything easily seen. for storing threads, use different hooks. just a note, pay attention to ur machines. keep them oiled. i absolutely love sewing. i have several machines. quilting. sewing. doll clothes. love it all
i would actually make a frame the size of the peg board with 1/2" of lumber strips and also put a strip down the middle then I would attach that to the wall using anchor screws and attach the peg board to that. The reason is if there isn't some space between the wall and the peg board the hooks you hang on to the peg board will not fit in the peg board holes properly. Then it's just a matter of painting the pegboard before you mount it then hang the hooks where you want them and hang scissiors etc on the board
You can use electrical boxes, the kind made with nails(ask the hardware store), to hold items that can't be hung.
