Here is an easy acrylic painting project I did. I painted mine on an 8x10 canvas. You can shrink or enlarge the PDF to fit the size canvas you would like to paint. There is a link below to the free downloadable pattern on my webpage. This is a really fun painting project.
I applied an off-white acrylic paint to the canvas first and then used Burnt Umber to age the canvas. Just water down the paint a little, brush on the canvas and then wipe off with a damp paper towel.
Next, trace your pattern onto the canvas.
Mixing white into the purple allowed me to make highlights on the painting. This is easy to do, don't stress about having the perfect mix as long as there is a visible difference in the colors.
Repeat the same process when painting the green buttons. Look how highlighting and darkening areas gives depth to your painting!
Enjoyed the project?

I'd like to use this image for an upcoming paint night at our studio. Would you mind? I would give you credit and send you pictures :)
Hi, I'd love to find the template for this, but the link to the webite doesn't seem to work. Is there a direct link? Thank you!
