I have one and I have never fed it. We do trim it once in a while. It looks fine.

They are best kept in the shade or semishade they dont like full sun and just feed them once ever six weeks they really don't need to be feed , but a little wont hurt and trim once a year .They are really slow growers hope this helps 😚
friend of mine swears by chicken manure. 1 part manure, 3 part miracle grow potting soil, 3 parts native soil
You don't necessarily need to feed them, but if you do, I wouldn't do it more than every 6-8 weeks!
