Try magic eraser
Try 409 cleaner. It's a great cleaner.
Murphy's oil soap
I use mineral spirits to take any pencil marks and measurements I write on wood.
mr clean sponges
you will likely have to sand off the pencil marks.
I would lightly sand them out
i would try using a high quality WHITE eraser (Staedtler). This will not leave the usual red residue. Good luck.
