DIY Vintage Love Letter Box

I rescued a jewelry box from the trash and repurposed it into a lovely, vintage-looking box to hold precious, old love letters written many years ago.
A monogram of the couple was placed inside the lid.
It started out looking like this.
After two coats of milk paint, and a buffing of white wax, I got just the look I was after.
The old love letters were gathered and tied together with pink ribbon
The sweet, romantic, old love letters now a lovely home.
