I would keep the same color theme, or neutral throughout the house. You can add color with items like wall decor, throw pillows, tablecloths. Pick 2 or 3 bright colors you like, and although it doesn't have to match, try to carry those colors throughout. My example is that I have various shades of coral walls throughout my downstairs, with light floors and dark wood trim. My accent colors are turquoise, cobalt blue and red. It feels very cohesive and flows nicely from room to room. All three accent colors might not be found in the same room, but, from room to room they carry over. Remember we all like different things, so pick what works for you.
Get the paint papers, and lay them down, as per room. This will give you a better idea, once they are laid down. Or you may want to have a paint chip, outside the door of each room, that you want to paint, and let the hallway harmonize with the room colors. Best wishes, J.
Thank you. That sounds beautiful. I was planning on red accent, nice to hear and can have more than one. I guess black and white are not considered accent colors.
