after the cleaning and the paint, consider what is nesesary and whsts nice. get the necessary in place 1st then a sample of nice.

Before I begin to redo a room I look at ideas on Pinterest, Hometalk, magazines, etc. to see what other people have done. When I find a look that I like, I try to follow that idea but shop around for less expensive alternatives. Also, measure everything so you can pick up bargain items when you find them (such as shelving, bath rugs, mirrors, etc.).
Consider redoing the countertops. I love concrete!
