Strawberries love the sun, so full sun is best. They love water but you don't want to over water them. We water ours every other 2 days, but because strawberries have shallow roots, we give them a light to moderate watering. It's a good idea to spread mulching around under the leaves. That will help to ensure not over watering & the mulching will help keep the weeds out. Strawberries will reach their vines all over the place as that's how they grow new plants. Wherever the new shoots touch the soil, that's where they will begin a new plant, so planting strawberries about 8 to 12 inches apart is best or you can plant them in hanging pots & the vines will grow over & hang down & will still produce more vines with strawberries on them. Happy strawberry fun!

its an tropical fruit so it likes "water"......I actually have a green thumb I didn't know about...and I love it...ALL my plants love just a little water every morning and then after dinner, more.....I don't even put "food" in my plants and they are lustrous...I love them and get compliments on them from my neighbors all the time. They ask me what I'm giving them and I just say "talk to them and water them"...I've even named a few of them...
