A friend of mine is crazy about doing scarves over lamp shades. What she dose is, she lays the scarves out flat. Then she ties small marbles into each of the corners with ribbons. It keeps the scarves in place & she inter changes different scarves with seasonal themes.
I dunno, but make sure its not a plastic shade, my friend and I shared a room in Moscow, and she put one over the plastic shade and it melted....they charged us $100.
