seems I saw a simple tutorial. Simply sand and paint? I was thinking a lace look?

    i did the same thing, only on my drawer fronts. Clean with TSP, use a Paint Deglosser to dull the finish of the veneer. Apply your main basecoat color. Lay a piece of lace and lightly spray paint through the lace until you see that the design has transferred.
