Has anyone ever tried to dye a drop cloth?

Other than the fact that it is very large I'm wondering if it would absorb the dye. Have you tried it?

Wash first, dry on line. Should take dye just fine.
I've painted a drop cloth for a rug......I would imagine dye would work the same way.
Natural fibers absorb dyes, man-made like polyester won't as well or at all.
my girlfriend does it all the time! It is the best! Try sun dying! Use plants , flowers or Kool-aid.
It can come out beautiful! I can't wait to see yours!
