How do I make my fire pit look new again

I have a fire pit which needs some TLC , the bowl part is all rusty looking as is the dome shell cover ,

How about painting with extreme heat paint - what you would use for a bbq grill?
We got rid of the dome shell and surrounded the bowl with red bricks to build a wall around it. It has worked great. And looks nice. It has held up through winter time. We just stacked the bricks in circles around four bricks high, we didn't even seal them at all.
There are so many nifty tips and tricks!! Our favorite is using white vinegar and a toothbrush! Find more below!

Hello Judy; Please try cleaning it with Bar Keepers friend. If that does not work, Please go to Ace hardware, as they have heavy duty paint which is used for BBQ Grills.
