We are tired of our high energy bills here in Southern California, and since we were getting a new roof it was the perfect time to put solar panels on our home. Plus, we got a HUGE tax credit and then a BIG rebate from our local water and power company. So, it cut the cost in half! panels

Galen W. Yoder on Jul 03, 2016I hope I didn't sound like your Solar system was a bad idea. I'm a General Contractor in Oregon, and the Willamette Valley has weather condition that go from 1 end of the"wet" scale to the other end of the dried out " heat"scale, which cause significant roof and exterior related problems. The largest percentage of my work is repairing poor installations of windows, doors, skylites, vents, roofs, roof attachments, vents, Siding, etc, etc, and unfortunately I'm finding more damage to houses built in the past 15 years, than I find in most houses built 35 or more years ago! It sounds like you found a good reputable Solar co., I was just trying to state a word of caution to anyone that might think this could be a "No Problems", type of solution to high energy cost! You did your homework-some people say the dog ate it!
