Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?

Where do you live? If you are in the desert certain bugs don't exist but others do. If you are in the mountains, again bugs that live in the mountains may not live elsewhere. Etc, etc, and so forth. Flies live just about anywhere and anytime, the same goes for ants and roaches. Fleas don't live here in Las Vegas, but mites do.
