A I add fertilizer
miracle grow works great
Hello Norma, Tomatoes require a lot of water and a lot of sun and high temps. You can use fertilizer but be frugal with it. You could also use Epson salt. Dilute 1 tablespoon in a gallon of water and sprinkle at the base of your plants. Then water so the Epson salt has a better chance of getting to the roots. You should only do this once or twice a year. It helps to put nutrients back in your soil. Hope this helps you.
I've used MiracleGro on my tomato plants for years. You just don't need to use too much because it will cause your plants to be more vines than tomatoes.
