Wow thanks for the ideas i will try it with my children who aren't in daycamp and need activities. The rest of the question was how to keep the animals away since I live in an area with many deer. Anyways I seemed to have gotten my answers to start in small pots and in egg shells because anyways I can't start putting up fences and wires to protect the plants from the Animals bc I can't physically do that myself thanks again for your answer
