Scrap Paper Luminaries

For a few weeks now...I've been crushing on scrapbook paper. I'm not sure what set that craze into motion...maybe not being about to get outside. What ever the reason...I've made another project. This one, I let my daughter pick her choice of papers...and these are the three she chose, as the luminaries...are staying at her house. This is a fairly simple project...and it goes pretty quickly. Can you see these all dolled up for any holiday?
These would just be gorgeous in bright colors...for any holiday!
Start with three inexpensive cylindrical vases from the discount store...I got mine at Wal-mart
Take scrap book paper and mark the height of your vase.
Be sure you know what ends are for the top and the bottom
Fold the bottom up to the top and crease.
cut slices at any width you desire from one another...just make sure you leave 1/2" - 3/4" uncut where the edges meet.
Glue them together and slip over your vase. Push down slightly...to make the poof in the middles.
They look so pretty glowing in the evening light
Can you see these in Red..glowing for Christmas Dinner?
