I'm not sure what you want to do with the orange brick wall? I think it looks great with all of the decorations that you have on it and match as well. The green shelving unit is in serious need of decluttering. Once you get to the point that you can see the shelves I would paint them orange to match the orange wall. It would go well with the green that you already have it painted and blend your color groups together. I agree you need some kind of doors to help contain.

I would paint it a stark white. I think it provide a nice contrast to the red peppers and the rest of the decor in the room .

With the red plates and other decorations already in the room, I would paint that brick wall a dark charcoal color of gray (not black but almost) in maybe a chalk paint so it's not shiny and paint the mortar between the brinks a softer gray so that the wall is an accent itself to contrast with all the bright colors of the other pieces that make a nice background but it doesn't compete with the other colors in the room. Dark neutral will actually make the other things you've used for decoration pop with color.

Leigh really has the best way to make your colours pop as they say. I am in my faith decade and just learned this trick a few years ago from an artist I know who hangs gallery walls a lot. The deep white is always a second idea to her. Another hint she said is so dimple it hit me like a ton of bricks, bwahahaha. If there is a common colour that runs through all the art pieces paint the accent wall that colour and it brings everything in together as if they had just been painted on. Superb hint and now I get a smile thinking of her every time I see an artist do this trick. Enjoy your beautiful pieces.

You could always get someone in to sandblast it back to the original brick. Or you can get PVC panels that look just like real brick and cover it over. I bought tin ceiling tiles made of PVC from decorativeceilings.com and you can't tell the difference.

How about painting it a terra cotta color, then painting it bright white. THEN, sand/distress to look like painted brick. I love this wall and wouldn't put anything over it (like paneling). Make sure to let us know how it turns out..whatever you decide to do! Good Luck :)

I think that it would be lovely if you chimed away some of the brick. Make it a white washed color in those uneven areas. Like a villa. I love that look.

I think a terra cotta color that blends well with your chili collection would be great. I think it would warm it up a little more than the yellow appears to do.

Slurry or stucco the brick and paint it terra cotta.

I live in a Santa Fe style home and most of my decor is Mexican. Add some talevera ceramics to the mix and a pretty Mexican cross somewhere.

Your on the right track be need the right color to make your kitchen pop!! I have paint sample picture below use the yellow on all other walls except the brick one and use the terra cotta color on the brick wall only and the door and trim paint that white. The green cabinet I would use the other accent color in mustard. That cupboard need help displaying all your lovely items. Use cook book laying down as a prop to place an item on, omit the 4 bottom shelf of those items to aloud for above items to be displayed.

I would do a skim coat of joint compound or stucco on it to make it look like adobe since you like the Santa Fe look.
