Is there a way to close off the jets so they will be leakproof since I no longer use that feature?

Hello Mary; There is a way to close off the jets, at least in mine there is.
Please check the warranty, and also look at the inside of the jets.
There should be a place where you can turn the jets to shut them off.
On mine, there is a place in the wall. I can also turn them off there.
