Putting self adhesive square tile over rolled linoleum

for a quick fix, can self adhesive vinyl tiles be put over a rolled linoleum floor. The floor I am trying to cover is in good shape, it does have a bit of a texture to it, any suggestions anyone? thank you

    Hello Nancy; Yes they can. I did this at a Friends house. You will need heavy duty caulking, patience and heavy duty razor. I used a good grade of square tiles and her floor looked like it was professionally done!!!

    In short yes. Make sure the floor in clean and dry. Now depending on how deep the texture is, but most linoleum isn't that deep textured so you should be fine.

    Hi Nancy, We recently did this very thing in our bathroom. Make sure the linoleum is cleaned very well. Find the center of the floor. Mark the center with pencil. This is where your first tile should be laid. Work out from there. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
