Kids' bedroom storage
-
The Garden Frog with C Renee on Feb 03, 2014Have you thought about creating bunk beds so the kids could each have a desk/work/play space under the bed? the one thing with kids (and I have raised 4) to remember is that storage must be kid friendly. Cabinets on the wall may be better for older kids but I would utilize space under beds so they will want to be neat and organized (hopefully). Think of college dorms where they use loft beds with desk and dresser underneath. Utilize closet space too. Note: when hanging cabinets on a wall, you look for the studs and hang the cabinet on studs with about 3" or more screws to hold it. good luckHelpful Reply

Moxie on Feb 03, 2014Cabinets are screwed intovthe studs on the other side of the drywall in kitchens or other locations. If you have drywall you should have studs to (prob at 16" on center and the edge of the stud is most likely 1 1/2" . Trundels under beds can be helpful also. I hope this helpsHelpful Reply
