Hi Rose, Here's a link with some nice ideas: https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+decorate+a+window&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiF3rCJo4vVAhUHOSYKHTAuAa8QsAQIfg&biw=1600&bih=794
Have fun!
So a Search on Hometalk or Pinterest. There are so many ideas out there and it all depends on the look you are going for.
You can create your own stained glass using Gallery Glass liquid lead for outlines and fill in with color. For textured "glass" you fill in with color and then run a toothpick around in it to create the effect you are going for.
Hope that helps

I attached silk flowers to the curtain rod. No curtain, just flowers.
Depends on where the window is. Also your style of decorating. Depends on the view from the window. I like to plant something outside to "decorate" the window, but a greenhouse window would do the same thing or the curtains/draperies you use. You can put shelves over the window and decorate them with something you collect or plants. Have fun!
Depends on size, if you want outside view or not and your style and if you need privacy. Also, is it a window that gets hot sun rays? I like over window valances made from wood moulding and then I have a shelf to decorate above the window.
