It's done a lot so here is a nice video to help. Each new lock will have it's own key.

New door !ocks come with keys.
yes, definitely. A locksmith can do this for you. I had a new deadbolt installed and they made it work with the same key as the door knob that's been on my house for 20 years.
If you are replacing the door lock (with a new one), then why would you need to have it rekeyed? Wouldn't a replacement lock come with new/different keys?
You definitely have a choice here. You can have a locksmith rekey the old one, buy a new one and use the new key or buy a new one and have the locksmith rekey it to the old key in case you want the same key as another lock.
When I moved, a local locksmith came out and re-keyed all of my locks. Get a price quote first.
They make new locks that you can re-key yourself.
