I can't tell you how frustrated I was when I first started restoring furniture! I was using a brush because I didn't have the cash to go out and buy an expensive sprayer, but I was having an extremely difficult time eliminating brush strokes. I HATED them. I tried everything - floetrol, water, all types of paint that promised they were smooth as butter - nothing worked. After eventually investing in a sprayer, I stayed away from brushes for a long time.... but I was getting so many questions about how to eliminate brush strokes, I decided it was time to just bite the bullet and figure it out. So, after experimenting with as many tools and supplies as I could find, I finally found a combination that works!
