i soak mine with a little vinegar and water in the diffusing cavity to get rid of the oily buildup then wipe well with a paper towel.
Oily Friend: Add water to the water line and add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to your diffuser, turn on your diffuser for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes dump out the water/vinegar and wipe out the round circle in the bottom with a Q-tip, wipe the rest of the diffuser with a paper towel. Now you are ready to use your essential oils in your diffuser.
