Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
Pressure wash it to make sure it is clean, then let it dry completely. Use a good quality exterior paint with either a brush or sprayer...no rollers...and paint the surface.
Rollers can be used IF they have longer or thicker nap. That allows paint to get into rougher areas. Brick would just tear up a brush and still be missed spots. Use brush only around windows where roller can't get.
You have to fix any problems before painting of course, and you really should prime the brick too. Here is a link that should help you to address anything you should do before paintnig:

First Wash down Surface - Seal with Brick sealer - then use Masonry Paint.
