Yeti cups or better yet the stainless steel mugs and large cups from Sam's Club
Look up stainless steel soup mugs. They are small and easy to handle and will keep a beverage warm for w quite a while.
I bought my mom children's sippy cups when she started having problems. They do make insulated ones for kids too. She had Parkinson's among other things and it worked out well. I also had good luck with the smallest stainless tumbler from Starbucks, which was a gift, and that worked well too. Yeti products are excellent quality, as Joy already suggested. Might be something to look into.
Use a thermos.
My husband likes the styrofoam coffee cups with lids we buy at Walmart. He likes his coffee very hot, and we have a few of the cardboard bands you put around the cups to keep from getting burned. Because they hold the same amount as a real coffee cup, then there is a limited amount that could spill out or choke her. My 100-y-o MIL likes her coffee warm and she doesn't like to sip from the lid. She keeps trying different types of cups, too. Best wishes 😇
Heb has a insulated cup that stays hot for up to 8 hrs. The name is KODI. You can use it for cold beverages to.
thank you everyone for your ideas. I didn't know I could find a sippy cup that is insulated. I've never seen a stainless steel one that was small yet. I don't know how heavy it would be with a beverage. I just thought of the thermos one yesterday ( finally ). That's because I heat up her cup 4-10 times. I get it too hot or not hot enough in the microwave. I will also look around to find the YETI cup and things you said. again, I appreciate your suggestions to something that should be easy to obtain, but turned out to be a challenge. I didn't think I should have to look in a specialty catalog.
