What type of backdplash is easiest to apply and still looks great?

    I think the peel and stick tiles or the ship lap would be the easiest.

    Glass tiles that are so popular today have to be grouted. Big flooring tiles have to be cut precisely but less grout is required. Shiplap needs to be nailed, then caulked. Peel and stick is much easier to trim and does not require grouting, but the conjunction with any cabinet tops or bottoms may need some caulking, and it is generally thinner than the other materials.     Take a look at this Youtube video showing the peel and stick tiles and the ease of installing them. I've seen peel and stick tiles in a stainless steel veneer. Gorgeous. Good luck with your choice.
