Make sure to keep you air filters changed in your furnace.
Get rid of rugs and opt for smaller area rugs instead if you must. If you have breathing issues maybe invest in one of those air purifiers. My daughter suffers with allergies and uses one :)

Sweep or vacuum regularly. If you are getting dust from vehicles going by your house...moisten the ground.that has dirt or gravel near your house. Or sprinkle the bare ground with prepared cement then sprinkle with water and let dry. Driveway dust solved.
If you have a lot of dust, it may be because you don't have air conditioning! Like me! I get a lot of dust. Did you know that most household dust is actually discarded skin cells? One good way to keep dust down is to take fish oil and use moisturizer and a loofah in the bath!
