Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
A young Sweetbay Magnolia of mine had aphids and white flies, quite severe. I mixed a spray of rubbing alcohol, dish soap, and Epsom salt, and applied to leaves as well as did a soil drench. Leaves fell off but quickly regrew beautifully, and even put out a half-dozen blossoms -- unusual for a tree of this type, less than a year old. You can also search online for this kind of solution ... it's where I got mine.
Have you tried dawn dish soap in the hose or pump sprayer yet?
lady bugs
Drops of Dawn in water spray bottle. Get both sides of leaves.
I used to soak cigarette butts in water (we called it butt soup) and spray the liquid on the roses. No one died but the aphids, but it was probably toxic as hell.
lady bugs, you can purchase them in a bag at most high end green houses. Store in fridge and release a few at a time. When they warm up they will get to work, when you notice the lady bugs are ll gone, the aphids will be as well has they only hang around if they have food. You can also try a product manufactured by "safers", it is an environmentally safe product.
I shall try my best to use one of the suggestions given, that is, one at a time whichever is effective. Thanks.
