$21.20 from Walmart online
I have seen them at Tractor Supply. I bet Rural King would have them. Good luck.
At your local open market, there is someone selling handmade/ homemade wood works. Ex: chairs, birdhouses etc. Ask if they could build one for you. Or search internet. There are free designs everywhere.
Tractor Supply
Look at zoos, wildlife centers, garden centers, etc. I bought mine on EBay because it had everything I wanted at a reasonable price, but be careful to do your homework. NO pretreated wood! Be sure to get a house large enough to hold at least a dozen bats. Be sure there is a screen on the wall(s) on which the bats can grip. Be sure there is a shelf on the bottom of the house to catch the adolescent bats should they lose their grip and fall; this way they won't tumble out and be eaten by a predator. Follow exact directions for placement of the house. Be prepared to wait a year or two before moving the house to another location. I hope you enjoy having bats take up residence next to you. They are a wonderful sight at dusk
