How to eradicate tobacco smell from leather dining chairs?

    ah, try dusting with baking soda and then vacuum and then damp wipe. Or you might try a rag dipped in vinegar/ water solution but I would test that first to make sure it doesn't harm your leather. Be sure the cloth is wrung out and then wipe the surface and then dry immediately with a clean microfiber cloth

    I quit smoking months ago and my friend cleans houses for owners that wants to sell there house but people wont buy because the house smells like smoke. So she takes Tide laundry soap liquid kind and she used it on the walls,carpet,sofa,all chairs and the owners wants to know how she does it.She told them its a secret.lol This will work I have used it.

    First, clean with saddle soap following the directions on the can. It is usually found in the store section with the boot cream. Then, use a high quality boot cream to polish the leather......be careful.....if it dries too long it will be difficult to buff off. Use shoe polishing brush, then a softer brush, then an old soft wool sweater to buff. There should be no residue to rub off on clothes, etc. I used this technique to make leather car seats look like new. They were black.
