Go with a light, fresh paint color, white, light aqua, pale yellow, etc. Then decorate with beach finds...shells or starfish in shadowboxes or frames, beach scenes, etc. use lots of whitewashed accessories to give an appearance of driftwood.
Thank you! My wall colors are Light Aqua and Pale Yellow! I will look for beach shells and such to put in shadow boxes.
Find a piece of fabric with a beachy motif and mount in on a frame. You can use rope to create a frame. Look in Home Goods or Pier 1 for plates that have a beach motif and do a grouping of them.
