Right the brand and model number of your piano and check the internet or a music store. You may have to replace the key. Do you still play it? At the very least, I'd take a dremel and sand out the burn mark. I'm afraid if I suggest how to fix it, (which won't be with ivory) you'll end up with a funky color key.
I've head ,never had to try it but you might try using ivory colored nail polish? depending how noticeable the burn spot is you might want to sand the brown off first
Maybe you could match the key color with the material that is used to repair kitchen cabinets/appliances?
Thank you so much for your reply. I neglected to say that there is a HOLE that I need to repair that is about the size of a pencil eraser that was burned into the edge of the ivory key. I need to fill in the hole.. Thanks anyway.
