How to get rid of fruit flies in my plants?
I have flies can't get rid of them.no food left out. No fruit. Really
I have fruit flies and can't get rid of them. I don't even have any food or fruit out.
I think they are both great! Each one has its own benefits and I love using them both! One benefit of HomeTalk is that you have access to the person that posted the project or idea so you can ask questions directly, etc. I think that is very helpful.
OK. We all have our druthers.
Totally agree with Michele. I like them both, but lately I have really leaned toward Hometalk. I think for a while I just Pinterested OUT!. I switch back and forth.
I use both ... they both have their merits.
Many times, I find I waste a lot of time, checking out a decor or craft idea on Hometalk and find it something I wouldn't want in my home BUT have also tried a recipe, for example, from Pinterest and have it fail. I DO have one complaint about Hometalk and that is, I dislike being forced to go on a website to see the rest of a post. Again, it wastes time. I understand that, sometimes, a video or lengthy website is warranted for instructions but many home renos send you to their website when a few sentences and photos would suffice. Just my opinion, that's all.
NOOOOO Hometalk haas NOT replaced Pinterest, and I don't believe that is the goal that the creator of Hometalk had in mind. The reason for Hometalk is so if anyone has questions about projects at home (gardening, decorating, crafts, etc), WHATEVER it is, then you can ask Hometalk and someone will try to get an answer, solution, suggestion, a new perspective, an idea, to you presonally. Pinterest is simply people posting what interests THEM individually (you can learn alot about a person by what they post), and IF you happen to be interested in it too then you can access the page to read more about it OR just look at a larger pic of it in more detail. However, although you CAN usually contact the creator of the Pinterest post, it is not likely you will get an answer UNLESS the post is very recent (at least that has been MY experience). By contacting Hometalk you WILL recieve an answer, and if it isn't the one you want to hear, then repost your question with more detailed information so whoever answers it will have a better idea as to what you are looking for ... or maybe their answer will spark a thought in you that will allow you to access Google with a search that will bring you what you want. :) Thanks for coing to Hometalk for an answer. I hope you find it helpful. Have a great summer! :)
Hometalk is my go to as it is interactive, but I like both! They each offer something a bit different. Just grateful we live in such a day and age that all these ideas are at our fingertips! No matter what you need or want, it is just a few clicks away. Plus you can Google anything and find an answer.
