What is the driveway made of? Asphalt? Concrete?
My pro handyman says it's almost impossible to do anything that will last since it's the unstable dirt underneath that causes the cracks.
Still, I plan to try. Among the things I learned when I researched it was it may be best to use a flexible product to fill cracks with -- clean out any pieces of concrete with still brush and vacuum, and use the product that is meant for this purpose -- search online, it's a special caulk.
For cracks widr than ~1/4" I think it is, use "backer rod" which gives a base to the caulk. It's also a flexible product that is laid in or stuffed into the crack. I found these products online easily.
I don't know.
