Hello Lisa; You can try and dab on a mixture of Baking Soda and Vinegar. However, In all honesty, Bar Keepers Friend works absolute wonders with Stainless steel.

Rub a lemon that you've cut in half all over the sink. Let the acid in juice do work for you . After a while , it should come right off .
