Dish soap plus a teaspoon of cooking oil per quart,spray till you no longer se them,then check weekly.
I tried using scotch tape wrapped with sticky side out and wiped the plant (Rose) where aphids have taken maximum refuge, mainly near buds. It was quite effective.
Ladybugs, lacewing larvae or eggs or whiteflies. Buy some.

Have used rubbing alcohol which did work sprayed on left for 20 minutes or so then washed off . Now using soapy water and rubber gloves to wipe off aphids and wash with water will try the cooking oil in dish soap next time.
Just so you know theses milk weed are being grown to get Monache batteries so have to be very careful what is used on plant no chemicals.
