DIY Adventure: Making a Lamp

I was inspired by the tribal stencil from Royal Design Studio and stenciled a wood vase and lampshade. Then converted the vase into a lamp base.
Need to drill holes in the wood vase.
You can get a "lamp kit" at stores like Home Depot for about $12, or you can find them online. My blog post about this project shares a few online sources.
Here are all my pieces to assemble the lamp - this shows what you need.

I learned a few lessons. Just missing the "too long" and I could have had a Goldilocks and the Three Bears kind of lamp-making story.
Once you get your lamp-making pieces, it's easy to put together.
