I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
unfortunately using vinegar with other plants around also kills them.try bing water directly and only on the weeds .or smother them out with newspapers and cardboard.
Nothing beats good old fashioned weeding. Put down landscape fabric, newspaper or cardboard then top with mulch. I weed every single day. While I realize not everyone has this luxury, the mulch will help greatly.
Mulching keeps weeds down and is attractive.
One idea I've seen on this site has worked for me. Use boiling water.
Yes the vinegar and epsom acted like fertilizer for me....
You could try putting mulch around the plants after getting them all out.
Carefully! use boiling water to kill the weeds, then lay down old newspapers, wet them and apply mulch. Keeps the weed seeds from getting to the soil.
pull them as best you can or lay down black tar paper then replant
thank you Rose. i'll try that!
