Garden Path From Pallets
No vapor barrier. Then when it rains, your wood will be sitting in water. Gravel or at least sand underneath.
Hello Mary; I have seen something similar done using pallets.
First I would suggest that you remove all grass from the area.
You will have to raise the area by either using sand, rock and or gravel.
I would personally use sand and gravel. Lay the treated pallet planks over the sand/gravel mixture.
By treated, I would sand the pallets and then would stain them, so that they will hold up due to the outdoor elements.
I hope that this helps you!! Take Care!
i used 2 2x4s then I took apart my pallet and used wood screws to attach them to the 2x4s then I used stakes to keep the hole thing in place I love the look
