Good Evening :) A Hardieplank, eh? hmmmm .... I would think you mean shiplap ? I DID find the following short video that might be of help. I don't know where you need to replace the board but I don't think WHERE would change the way HOW to replace it ;)

Are you speaking of hardy back in the floor ?
We put Hardie Board on our chicken house we built about ten years ago. It did not hold up like it should so we have taken most of it off and are working on the rest this year and replacing it with REAL WOOD as it holds up so much better. The Hardie Board is made from cement and for us was horrible!
