Do iris' s ever change color?

    Are you talking eyes, or plants? Because it would be yes to both. The human eye Iris can change colors due to emotions or the size of your pupils.


    As for the iris flower plant, the Iris flower usually only changes colors depending on it's age of the flower itself. Like a fresh bloom is at its brightest, and then when the bloom is older, it starts to fade, before the bloom dies and makes room for more blooms.


    Sometimes if you have several different colors of a flower type, sometimes you may get a hybrid that flowers.

    I have never seen Irises change color.

    Some do when there's a more dominant colored iris nearby.
