What Were you thinking about, total revamp of the layout or just an update to the colour scheme? If the layout and mechanicals are fine, it is quite easy to change out the curtains and upholstery to update the unit. flooring can be easily changed...we went from carpet to a vinyl product that looks like hardwood (very light). If there is panelling on the walls, they can be painted or wall papered over.
