Mushrooms in the soil are a sign of fungus from to much water. Repot the plant in fresh soil and water when dry to the touch.
Are you using mushroom mulch or compost?
Stop watering, water only when the soil is dry
Do you know diffenbacheas are poisonous to pets and children?
Back off on the watering. Your plant is drowning.
Sprinkle cinnamon over the dirt , slow down watering, cinnamon. Will kill fungus
There can be spores in the soil mix that sprout to life from the moisture, and has nothing to do with overwatering. We had this happen with a particular soil that contained a lot of organic material. Your plant does not look like it is suffering from too much water, the leaves would be yellow. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/getting-rid-of-mushrooms-growing-in-houseplant-soil.htm
If you don't like their appearance, take plastic fork and break up and scratch into the soil. Not a big deal.
Put it outside for a few hours, and don't water too much. I have the exact same plant in my office and it's so big i need to repot it. I water it once a week.
just pull them out, no big deal
