Care of potted flower plants?

I have about 20 potted flower plants. It's getting enough sun light and water. Periodically vermin compost is added to the soi. But the flowe yields is not encouragin. I get very little flowers. What should I do to make my plants to have plenty of flower.

    Feed them with a water soulable fertilizer with lower nitrogen and higher phosphorus

    most likely they are root bound. transfer them to larger pots and use good potting soil from the store. if they are perennials they aren't meant to be potted and need more space for roots as if they were outside.

    Potted plants don't get nutrients from the soil unless you add them. I would use Miracle grow, either the water soluble or extended release to give them the nutrients they need. On potted flowers you can foliar feed and that will work to increase flowering, or you have a choice to feed on a schedule or each time you water with a different formula of less fertilizer in the water. Either way I think you will see a difference.

    This sounds silly, but I've found indoor plants like green. I had green curtains in a room with my plants and they thrived. I changed my curtains to brown and they actually started dying.
