What can I do to protect a piece of furniture that I have wallpapered?

The piece looks great. Wall paper cost $2.00, paste $2.00. How can I seal it so it dies not wear with use. It's a credenza that gets some use but not alot. It's white paintable wall paper hi-lited with red, gold and yellow.

A water proof non yellowing sealer would be your best bet.
