How do I make a tile countertop look good?

It's a decent tile but the grout is impossible to keep clean and we don't have a lot of funds to get a new kitchen countertop. Any suggestions would really help. Thanks!

Have tried sealing the grout after you clean it? If that doesn't work , maybe give in and paint it all another color ?
If you know someone that you could borrow a steam cleaner from....that works the best for cleaning grout without chemicals.
Clean the grout well and then seal it with a grout sealer. You will need to reseal it every few months to keep it clean.
Change the color of the grout to a darker color. You can buy grout dye. it's not expensive, but it is tedious to put it on. I did my whole kitchen and utility room floor and all of my grout was the same color. I believe I used a dark taupe and even when it got a little dirty, you could not even tell.
You can paint them for a new fun look!
You can buy stickers to fit on the tiles. you will have to use a polymer to cover them so you can use the counter.
