Laundry Tips and Tricks

There's nothing like that fresh laundry scent. Today I'm sharing how I get it, naturally.
And there's also nothing more disappointing than staining your favorite clothes! I'm also sharing some tips for removing those tough stains!
Mmmm, I love the fresh scent of laundry, especially on my sheets. You don't need fabric sheets and perfumed detergent to get that scent.

For fresh smelling laundry I use, Borax, Arm & Hammer liquid laundry detergent (doesn't contain perfumed) and vinegar.
Nail polish on her brand new jeans...oh no! Grab some vinegar and let's get to work removing that stain. I've also got tips for getting cooking grease out of your clothes.

    How do you remove " ring around the Collar " ?.....scrubbing with a brush is fraying the fabric. Yes, I have used Dawn dish liquid as well, does not remove it completely.

    On heavy stains I use Dawn dishwashing soap, scrubbing it in really well. If it's a oil based stain then I add waterless hand cleaner like auto mechanics use. For nail polish I would think that mineral spirits would work as a pretreater also.
