Notice the slant of your yard. Does it slant to the back or front.?? If so, then it will drain to the that direction. This is fine, as long as there is a ditch, or proper drainage, for your area. I really wouldn't level it, or it will be hard for correct drainage. Just watch next time we have severe down pours of rain. If it is severe, you don't want water to lay around, for this would cause water to become stagnant, and this leads to more problems. It is better to have a slant, for proper drainage. Hope this helps you,Best wishes, J.

Use a water level. . it is two clear pieces of plastic tubing attached to a garden hose.
Place both on stands at the point where you start from ..leave one end there, then take the other and place it in different places and record difference of water height in what erver you use, inches or centimeters.
Water seeks it's own level.
This show you whether you add or take away soil..
it dosen't matter how long a hose you use as long it is completely full of water. It could be 25 feet or 200 feet .Just follow the directions on the package .
They use thes to level mobile homes whe setting them up or doing concrete floors..
